This workshop is now open to mixed instrument players so come one come all.  We’ve already got some fiddlers and a nickle harper but it’d be nice to see some flutes, accordions, clarinets, mandolins and any other instruments you want to bring.

The Harrison and Trad Academy are proud to present an Finnish Tunes workshop from Suvi Oskala. In this workshop Suvi Oskala will teach Finnish fiddle tunes by ear. The Finnish fiddle tunes have interesting melodies and rhythmical bowings different from even the other Scandinavian fiddle styles. This workshop will last one hour and thirty minutes and is aimed at people who can already play their instrument but will be taught by ear so you don’t need to read music.
